In this installment of the Academy, we discuss reporting. It’s a fundamental part of any project management methodology and ProjectManager.com streamlines the process to make it more efficient and effective.
With your ProjectManager.com business account, you’ll have access to a wide range of custom reports which can be run in seconds to show a more detailed look into specific areas of your projects.
On the left panel, you’ll see different report categories which can be selected. Making a selection here will impact what you see in the right panel. In this example, we’ll run a task report to get a list of all overdue tasks on my team. Based on the specific report, the particular options can be chosen in the right panel using check boxes. At the bottom of the right panel, you can choose the format of your report, whether you’d like to simply view the report on-screen or create PDF, Excel or in some cases CSV files.
In another example report, we’ll run a portfolio status so we can get an overview of all the projects going on in our organization right now.
