Additionally, ClickUp doesn’t have the greatest user interface. While as a Basecamp alternative there are certainly more features, but they’re not well-organized and it’s easy to get lost in the software. The free tool is a good place to start, but it doesn’t provide any of the tools that project managers and teams need. Even if you decide to invest, the features prove too much for small projects and underperforming for larger projects.
