How a Project Manager Completes Delivery

Project Manager - Tips & Hints

“Managing Project Delivery”

As a Project Manager, you will want to carefully manage the project delivery to ensure success. This is all about managing the time, money and resources provided to ensure that you meet the expectations of your Project Sponsor. It sounds easy, but every Project Manager knows that delivery is all that counts.

One tip is to make sure that all suppliers are appointed through a formal process. This may involve completing a statement of work which describes exactly what it is that you intend to outsource to them. If you do this, then the Project Manager will probably want to issue a “request for information” and “request for proposal” document to enable you to review their detailed proposals in a fair and unbiased manner.

You will also want to put in place a procurement process so that every good and service that is delivered by your supplier to your project, is reviewed and approved before the Project Manager endorses the final payment.
